there are some disco songs that i love and some i don't. The main reason so many rejected disco was because in the late 70's early 80's we nearly drowned in disco.

Disco was cool for about 10 minutes in 1976...

...when Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band hit the scene with some seriously original-sounding stuff. Then it all got simplistic boom-boom, 4/4 time. Ugh.

14. Depends on the definition of Disco

If you mean Studio 54 American 70's style (i.e. Bee Gees, Blondie etc) then it always sucked and always will. If you mean cool Euro and UK disco (i.e. Modern Talking, Petshop Boys, Cerrone, Erasure, Bony M etc.) then it RULES and always will.
