Hollywood star Orlando Bloom has set the wheels in motion towards becoming a Buddhist.

According to the Daily Mirror, Orlando, 27, took part in a 60minute ceremony at a centre to commit himself to the religion.

The Lord of the Rings hunk, along 60 others, took part in the ritual at the Soka Gakkai International Buddhist movement HQ at Taplow Court Mansion in Maidenhead, Berks.

An onlooker said: “He looked really happy. He looked comfortable and quite excited.”

6. I've been looking into Buddhism lately

It has a lot of good things going for it, but in the end, it's still a religion. I didn't care for the lack of emotion and passion that Buddhists shoot for. They aim to be passionate about nothing.

Other than that, they've got it going on.
