And you or your SO don't count. Keep it clean.
I have a book bag, 10 college text books, and some clothes.

52. He was 2 and 1/2 when I took that pic.
So he still acted like a puppy ! But he was almost full grown. He's 5 now and people still ask if he's a puppy !

I wouldn't say JRTs are lap dogs. That's not to say they wont sit on your lap and snuggle, they will. BUT, they are highly active and easily excitable. A high maintenance breed. They can be very aggressive, to cats, to other dogs, and to little kids, even older kids if they feel threatened. They usually bond with one family member and remain loyal to that one. So if he's in my wife's lap and I walk into the room, he bolts away from her, and if she tries to keep him there, he becomes aggressive.

75. A book and a large cat
Years ago, after my divorce, I got very lazy about tidying. When I finally decided to clean off my bed, I listed everything I found on it. Still have the list. Among other things there were -

3 or 4 loads of laundry, clean but unfolded
10 newspapers
14 hardcover books
8 paperbacks
a screwdriver
a coffee mug
a bungee cord
a box of kleenex
a dog leash
a pile of papers
a remote control
3 CD's in cases

and on and on and on. It's amazing how much junk you can pile on a king size bed and still manage to sleep in it.
