downloading attachments with SBC Yahoo DSL |
|
I have several emails sitting in my SBC-Yahoo DSL email inbox that have quite a few attachments each (30+). Basically, we finally got around to my wife emailing my family & hers the pictures we had downloaded to her laptop in China. We also emailed them to our home email address so we could put them on our PC at home.
However, when I open up my Yahoo email, it shows the 30+ pictures in each email as separate attachments that I will have to download separately, 1 at a time.
I called Yahoo help last night and they indicated that this is how their system works. However, the woman spoke with a heavy Indian accent and I'm not sure we entirely understood each other.
Is there a way to download multiple attachments at once, like you can with MS Outlook or AOL mail?

1. I don't think so, that is a drawback of Yahoo mail, but why don't |

you set up an Outlook Express account if you have SBC? I have a Yahoo email account which I use for almost everything, but when I have big attachments etc. I use the SBC Outlok Express account.
Unless you know how to zip them. Which I don't.

Put all the photos in one folder. Zip the folder and send the zip file as an attachment. Don't use Outlook-it's nonsecure. I have SBC-DSL and I use Mozilla to browse and for multiple email accounts.

5. how do I put them into 1 folder without downloading them? |
|
Basically, I open up the email and it is like this.
Subject: Pictures 8
Body: {picture 1} {picture 2} {picture 3} ... {picture 33 or whatever}
Just one huge email with picture on top of picture as you scroll down.
