How Come GW Bush has NOT appeared on any Simpson episodes in 4 years? |
|
They lampooned CLinton ALOT. Even Bush's dad was lampooned, but Bush has been in office for 4 years & NOT ONCE has Matt Groenig put Chimpy in a episode. I think we should email him & ask that he appear!

|

They were alway bashing Clinton. They've even poked fun at FOX but ridiculing Bush even though he's a living, breathing, joke must be off limits.

4. Homer did make a reference to blowing reefer smoke "in his |
|
stupid monkey face" which is fine by me. GW's a big enough cartoon as it is.

If they are going after Fox then go after Bush & Cheney! I want them written into an episode where Bush provides the comic relief. Even the episode a couple weeks ago showed Bill Clinton in prison with the Simpsons. Whats up with that? Clinton has been out of office for 4 years & they still use him on their show but Bush is off limits? Thats not fair!

7. GW didn't even make it into the episode with his father.... |

Remember Homer and Bart used fake cardboard stand-ins for Neil and Jeb, but no Georgie. I guess at the time he was under the radar.

8. I'm sort of glad they haven't |

The episode with Bush I was, quite possibly, the worst Simpsons episode ever.
I realize that there's been some pretty stiff competition over the past few years, but the only one that comes close (for me) is the "Behind the Laughter" episode.
Both are/were truly awful...

10. Maybe they just don't find him funny. I know I don't. |
|
For the 2000 election, the last episode before the election had Bart's chalkboard gag say "I will not plant subliminAL messaGOREs"
They are on our side.

11. Maybe they don't want to give him any more air time? |
|
Maybe they despise him so much that they can't even bring themselves to make good-natured jabs at him?
Maybe they think he's already making enough of an ass of himself? They don't want to kick him when he's down?
Maybe they don't respect him enough to lampoon him on the show? (this is my guess)
You could try e-mailing them and asking them....

12. They probably received the memo from Michael Powell |
|
that threatened them with a fine if they even thought about it.
