This guy is a loon!

QUOTE>>>>> "One other thing. Elections do not mean democracy. That will take many years to evolve. Afghanistan is a good example. While it is good to see elections there, Karzai is effectively the Mayor of Kabul. Most of the rest of the country is still in the hands of the taliban and factional warlords. Tru democracy is a long way off for them, as it probably will be for Iraq".

"Even the longest journey begins with the first step" Or is it your considered opinion the people of Iraq do not deserve to be free and control their own destiny no matter how long it takes ?
The plan is that by planting the seeds of democracy in the middle east the populations of countries like Iran & syria will see its possible in their country too, no one said it will grow over night.
Looks like you think only some people deserve to live free

Elections mean everything when you never had them ! Ask the 9 million afgans who rode donkeys camels and walked for days to just get the chance to vote.

The only time Elections dont mean anything is when spoiled brats and bad losers dont like the results. I can name a few of those.

Calif Gov Arnold said it best when asked if he would ask democrats in Calif to offer opinions he said, "why would I ask the losers what they think" "Their way was turned down by the people wasn't it"?.

Ole nutz only spouts the new york times limited versions of the war and not that of the wall st journal or Fox news channel reports.
Col Scot rudder retired military reports daily on Fox news channel and many of his reports are from the rest of Iraq! They are in stark contrast to the lies and mis information of the NYTimes and CNN.
Nutz quotes the NY times and CNN then his silly followers think he is putting forth actual hard facts. The times is a left wing joke and only prints the things that support its agenda.

Nutz loves telling us "what is is" Nutz forgets only "willy (the liar) clinton" thought "is" needed to be explained, the rest of us recognise the truth from nutz fiction and opinons.

Yes, Inside the Suni triangle the green zone is the only safe haven but the rest of Iraq (approx 80 percent in land mass) is stable and is getting back to normal.

Nutz will point to a boil on the arm of Iraq and loudly proclaim, "The patient is dying" but he leaves out the small print that says (the boil only needs to be lanced to save Iraq)!<<<END QUOTE!

1. What is it with Republicans and their obsession with land mass?
Someone pointed that out to Barbra Boxer (I believe) one time. This general said to her in a hearing that the Sunni Triangle is "only 25% of Iraq". Senator Boxer replied that "Well, what concerns me is that little area contains 75% of Iraq's population!"

Same thing with the voting results... "Ooooh, look at all that red!!!" To which we should reply, "Wow, you won all that red and STILL only, just barely, won."

Does dirt mean more to them than people, or are they just trying to fool us?
