Venus and earth are probably the prettiest to look at...Saturn has the rings...Uranus has the name...Jupiter is my favorite piece from Holst's "The Planets"...I'll have to get back to you on it.

17. Yes, but
on the link you provide, if you follow the further link to the description of the Uranus of the Greek pantheon for which the planet is named, you'll find that that name is pronounced yooraynus. So there! :P

The planet was always called yooraynus when I was a kid. It has been since then that people started pronouncing it yooranus.

21. It changed when a NASA probe passed that planet
and broadcasters didn't want to seem to be saying anything about a probe near your anus. So they all started pronouncing it Ur-a-nus. Late '80s IIRC. They still got ragged on because it sounded like they were talking about urine.

14. Destination Venus
More than darkness lies between us
Twenty million miles of weakness
Human weakness
Holding my receiver
I can feel you coming nearer
Probing through the airwaves
Clearer...clearer, clearer
Destination Venus
My heart was never slow
Destination Venus
Where you are I'll always go
Hear your voice on the radio
Further modulation
Of the frequency rotation
Triggers feedback modulation
Mutilation.
Somewhere in the distance
I could hear a voice one instant
And then it faded from existance
No position
Destination Venus
My heart was never slow
Destination Venus
Where you are I'll always go
Hear your voice on the radio
Destination Venus
More than darkness lies between us
Twenty million miles of weakness
Human weakness
Somewhere in the distance
I could hear a voice one instant
And then it faded from existance
No position
Destination Venus
My heart was never slow
Destination Venus
Where you are I'll always go
Hear your voice on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
Keep coming through on the radio
