What Does Amazon.com Recommend for You?
They are creepy accurate. I rarely use the site, even less often buy something from them...and yet, my Top 10 Recommendations:

2. Outfoxed-Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism (DVD)
3. Tales of Despereaux ~Kate Dicamillo (ok, I bought Because of Winn-Dixie a few weeks ago from Amazon)
4. Literature for Today's Young Adults ~Alleen Pace Nilsen (based on above purchase, I assume)
5. Uncovered-The Whole Truth About the Iraq War (DVD)
6. The Hunting of the President (DVD)
7. Bowling for Columbine (DVD)
8. Bush Family Fortunes--The Best Democracy Money Can Buy (DVD)
9. R is for Ricochet ~Sue Grafton (they missed here, I can't stand her books)
10. Naked Pictures of Famous People ~Jon Stewart (I loooove the Daily Show!)

Edited on Wed Dec-08-04 02:36 PM by NewJeffCT
How does that one come up? Isn't that a religious book? I'm an atheist...

It says I'm recommended it because I bought Bill & Hillary's books (gift for my wife); Lying Liars, the DVD "Hero", & Dude, Where's My Country??? edited to add - & the Hobbit.

7. It's not a religious book,
it's a fictional book that uses religious symbols in a mystery context. In other words, it doesn't advocate religion in any way, in fact, it greatly annoyed many religious people.

11. I just checked...
It's a funny mix of firearms, politics, scrapbooking, and The Wiggles. :)

For example:
8. Baby Scrapbooks: Ideas, Tips, and Techniques for Baby Scrapbooks
9. The Wiggles - Toot Toot! (DVD)
10. Do-It-Yourself Submachine Gun : It's Homemade, 9mm, Lightweight, Durable-And It'll Never Be On Any Import Ban Lists!
11. All-Girl Scrapbook Pages: The Growing Up Years

My wife scrapbooks and uses my Amazon account. We've both used it to buy Wiggles CD's and DVD's for nieces and nephews. I read and look up a lot of books on politics and firearms, including a book I bought on "Expedient Homemade Firearms." :)
