Any Du'ers been to Poland? I just spent two weeks there and would be interested in your comments.
I enjoyed the visit. Driving is maddening since the road markings are either poor or non-existent. Getting lost is a daily event. The people are wonderful and enough spoke English that I could get by.
Okocim beer is great.

And I loved it. People were very nice there. They actually like Americans, unlike other European countries. A lot of pretty woman, contrary to the old stereo-types. And they love their vodka. They drink shots of it during morning business meetings.

Map with natural resources, customs, etc. I thought "how boring he picked Poland!". Then we started working on it. Quite interesting country actually.
They have just recently (13 years or so) gone into a free market economy that is becoming successful. Their traditions are similar to those of my mom's, who was born in Sweden, i.e. animals can talk on Christmas Eve.
