How does one put a picture on a coffee mug?
There is no end to the number of retailers who will put your favorite photos on a coffee mug.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do this at home. In other words, is there some sort of shellac or compound that can seal the picture onto the surface of the cup so that it is dishwasher-safe hundreds of times and non-toxic? Or is this done with a high-heat application?

Does anyone know?

Thanks.

1. I'm sure at the craft store there is a whole aisle devoted
to that very thing.

2. It's done using the dye sublimation process and special presses/cookers.
Even the simplest solution is a bit on the pricey side for just one mug.

If you're out to start a home business though, there are a variety of price points at which you can start.
