How to liven up an office party?
OK, so I (foolishly perhaps) volunteered to help the person who organizes the trivia game at the office Christmas party every year, and now I am dry of ideas. How do we make the trivia party fun and not just this person up at the lectern, asking questions?

10. Oh not this crowd!
You don't want this group to loosen up too much unless you want to hear a year's worth of seething resentment... ;-)

9. Cranium is pretty fun.
It's like a half-trivia game. There are also drawing questions, questions that involve clay, and "hummers" where you try and guess what song the person is humming. It also divides the group into four teams, which makes it a little more competitive.

I played it once at a dinner party, and it was a mighty good time.

13. Have your office mates
submit little known facts about themselves beforehand. Make up a sheet with these facts. Let the folks mingle. Give out a prize to the first one who correctly determines who goes with which fact.

Might be lame, might work out; may depend on your office chemistry.
