is anyone familiar with StreamRipper for Winamp ??

is anyone familiar with StreamRipper for Winamp ??
it's software that lets you record streaming audio to your harddrive ...

the software is smart enough to record songs played on internet radio stations and write them out into separate files ... the files are named according to the artist and the name of the song ...

the problem is that an ampersand in the name, for example Simon & Garfunkel, causes a problem when the software names the file ... everything after the ampersand gets truncated ...

so instead of getting a file named:

Simon & Garfunkel - The Boxer.mp3 you get:

Simon.mp3

does anyone have any idea how to get around this problem?
