tonight.

WAR IS OVER. IF YOU WANT IT.

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
Ans so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
Ans so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
War is over over
If you want it
War is over
Now...

1. We're playing those mind games forever
Some call it magic; the search for the grail.

I cannot believe it has been 24 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a totally senseless murder. Of all people to kill....
I live in NYC, and there is always a huge crowd in Central Park on this day, in the area designated as Strawberry Fields. :grouphug:

4. I'm in VA, but whenever I get the chance to go to NYC (which in the past
24 years I think has, sadly, only been maybe twice(?)), I go to Strawberry Fields.

Went to Penny Lane Pub here in Richmond for lunch today (locals know the place). It's a Beatles-themed British pub run by an authentic Scouser, Terry O'Neill. When my friend and I walked in, there was a table w/ a large framed photo of Lennon, lyrics to "Imagine" and about four lit candles (in the shape of green apples (Apple Corps no doubt)). Almost lost it right there. :(
