Did anyone else know Darby Crash died the same day as John Lennon?
Because I haven't seen it mentioned today even once, even in something silly like a copycat thread. Who else remembers old school LA punk.

That was also the same day my grandfather (the only one I knew) passed. What a queue!

I did not know that about Darby Crash...

The Germs were one of the most underrated LA bands of that time, IMHO.

BTW, did you know Joan Jett produced the Germs' album?

Ritchie Dagger's Crime is one of my favorite songs of all time...now it's gonna be stuck in my head for the next two days...

3. my foster-daughter named her dog Darby Crash many years ago and I had
no idea it was the name of a punk artist. <sigh>

And the red fur around her muzzle is residual hair dye- you can see a little of the blue-green left on the top of her head too LOL
