I am really ticklish. I have a fear of being tied up and tickled to death.

1. Yes and I don't like it at all. |
|
I get this overwhelming feeling of claustrophobia when I'm tickled and if the person doesn't stop I will start hating them.

And I hurt people who tickle me. I can't help it - my reaction to being tickled is violence.

Have you noticed that tensing makes it worse? If you could relax completely while being tickled (to death?) it wouldn't tickle at all. Maybe being tickled wasn't such a bad thing when we were less tense animals?

12. Ahh that makes sense... |
|
"Acquiring sensitivity to ticklish stimuli might have been highly useful in our evolutionary past, says Provine. It would have warned us if a poisonous scorpion was crawling along our neck. And the parts of our bodies that are highly vulnerable to injury, like our feet, chest and armpits, are among the most ticklish."
But this...
"Above the age of puberty, though, tickling usually is a form of flirtation, he says."
If any guy tried flirting with me by tickling, I would probably smack him up side the head or poke his eye out. Whatever reflex wasn't totally debilitated at the time. Luckily no man has ever tried this.

11. YES! and I hate being tickled |
|
The only dream that ever woke me up from a sound sleep as an adult was a dream where two or three people were holding me down and one person was getting ready to tickle my feet. I woke up and screamed NOOOOOO!!!
And don't you just hate being with someone who doesn't believe you're serious about HATING being tickled? :grr:

And why is it that whenever people find out (especially girls) they have to start POKING you?
Seriously, all through my chemistry class I couldn't relax because all the girls would be sneaking up on me and poking me and then I'd drop some type of toxic chemical or scream like a little girl.
