My first "Ask me Anything!" Topic for my birthday today! |
|
Yes, it is my birthday today (Dec. 9th) and I'm a big 44. Kinda like that number, it looks so asthetic, don't you think?
So, here is your chance to ask me anything!

I had to spend an extra $300 to get my son home on a different flight for thanksgiving because we got caught in major traffic. Guess I'll just have to spend a free night with my other disorderly conduct buddies! LOL
Thanks!

It cost us an extra $225 to get our son home for thanksgiving. Airline prices are outrageous!
btw: I have some very fond memories of birthday celebtrations in the Orlando Area. Especially since my B-day is on St Patrick's day and I figured out that bars are pretty good about offering a free beer or two to somebody celebrating a birthday. Great Times!!!!

8. I could be corny and say World Peace... |
|
or I could be corny and say I would like someone to love me for who I am and not feel insecure because I'm an intelligent, passionate, independent woman. Both would be wonderful.
If not those, then the special edition extended version LOTR III would be nice.

You know Judy Dench and John Malkovich and the guy who plays Worf in Star Trek also share this birthday. Probably the best known, though, is Donny Osmond. Well, can't have everything, can we?

20. Those are all great questions! My answers.... |
|
I had ... nothing for breakfast (Diet Coke doesn't count, does it?)
I am wearing... a beige ribbed tshirt, tan bellbottoms and brown leather sandals (I love Florida weather!)
My first thought was... Broke up with my boyfriend on my birthday. Woohoo.
My disappointment for today was... see first thought.
I didn't dream last night, barely slept (after breaking up with boyfriend at like 12:30 am and being sick on top of that).
How much do I weigh? Wow, you ask that of a woman??? LOL I do not mind. I'm 5'10" and weight 275 pounds.
You know, I hope the day ends up better than it started, actually...

I'm in Palm Coast.
Plan on eating lunch? Don't starve on your bday...take care of yourself!!!!
How sad that you broke up with your boyfriend. Why? Bad present? No present? Was it a long relationship? I am sorry!
Weight: It was kind of a joke, you know at birth everyone asks "How much did the baby weigh?" and "How many inches long?"...you know! Thanks for answering anyway, I know you said "ask me anything".
I hope your day does get better.
You know I thank God that I broke up with all the guys I broke up with! Most were jackasses and my husband is an angel (mostly an angel).
I hope your day gets better! I hope you have a Beautiful Year Ahead!

Treasure Coast here!
Yes, I plan on eating lunch. Don't know what yet, but will treat myself!
Reason I broke up with my boyfriend -- first, it was a short relationship, but the first one I have had in several years. I broke up with him because he pretty much wanted to me 'be supportive of him' by never having my own opinion about anything. If I gave an opinion he didn't like, he got all upset. I don't have time for that. Plus, he pretended to be a liberal when we met, but found out he was a bushbot! A black one at that! *boggles*
And at birth I weighed a mere 4 1/2 pounds and was 17" long. I was not supposed to be born alive, actually! So I'm lucky to be here after 44 years!
Thanks for the encouraging words, and PM me so we can do lunch sometime!

I have asthma and I get the winter crud EVERY December, usually around my birthday. And when I was in college, I ALWAYS had finals on my birthday. One year I was in the hospital on my birthday with respiratory infection... that really sucked. So I guess at least I can be glad I'm not that sick this year!

Not only was it on Dec. 9, 1969, I had just gotten out of the hospital from having my arm in traction (it was still in a cast), and I had a slumber party with ALL the girls in my third grade class. God, my mother was a brave woman, and my father had the patience of a saint that night!

33. 24 was a good year for me... |
|
I started going to college then, actually. Had been out on my own since 17, got married at 18, had my son at 20, then separated at 21 and was working as a bartender and cook for 3 years. My parents offered to have me and my son live with them if I went to school fulltime, and I took them up on it. Really hard living with the parents from 24-27, but it was the best thing I ever did!
Oh, and did I mention... I was hot back then and in a heavy metal band?

Was it an eventful 44th? My last birthday (Nov.29) wasn't so good :evilfrown: I got pelted by drive-by pebble throwers, relationship with my g/f ended, and I had to work. However I'm glad I have a few good friends because they really brightened my day.

40. Mine was bad starting out... |
|
Broke up with my BF, have been sick with chest congestion/asthma all week, had to work, and am 1100 miles from any family.
By the evening though, I made a really yummy mushroom/cheese casserole for dinner, bought Eternal Sunshine for the spotless mind on DVD and watched it, had chocolate cake I had made the other day for dessert, and got lots of cuddles from my pets. Oh, and my son remembered to call me, and my mom called me too.
Still bummed about the BF thing, especially since I was planning on being with him and his family for Christmas and with him on New Year's, and now I have no plans and no one to spend either holiday with. Guess another trip to Best Buy will be forthcoming to get more DVDs to watch.
Now if I could just get well, things would be much better!

Starting a day with a breakup, but ending on a good note.
I was hoping for the same thing with my g/f, I was hoping the time during holidays and our birthdays(Hers was the 24th of November) was the time we grew closer together. I did get her some nice presents, she didn't get me anything but I don't care if anyone gets me anything for my birthday or christmas because I don't ask for anything.
Sorry about your break up, it is a shame we all have to suffer a breakup at some point in our lives.
