I'm thinking about getting one for mah waife.

1. Or any good, hearty digital camera that can
take the abuse of travel, camping, backpacking, babies, a labrador retreiver (such as the one pictured to the left...that's Rover)

For instance the Olympus 765 and 770.

5. My canon S40 was left out in the rain
for over a day. Opened the lens, took out the battery and the flash card and let it air dry with all open for a day - everything fine. There are cases for many cams if you want to take underwater pics, but I think most of them dry out just fine.
