Do you have an office/workplace "mooch"? |
|
We have a guy where I work who seems to know about or find every single FREE food item in the building.
He is an IT guy so he is all over the building fixing people's computer (sort of) as well as flirting (so far unsuccessfully) and on his travels he finds every birthday cake or post meeting food tray.
I have to say he is very good at it. I just heard another department singing Happy Birthday to someone I wonder how long it will take him to get wind of it and try to mooch some cake out of it.

My "budget" for food in my senior year was $.63 per day. I became very good at the the subtle art of mooching......

Let him eat the food. What is the harm in SHARING? Did you pay for the food or something?

aren't all IT guys like that? One way to get your computer fixed is to keep a candy jar.

It's true, just keep a little food handy, and your computer will be repaired/debugged in no time!

I work in IT (programmer) and I've never seen this problem before, myself. But, man!! Have we EVER got one of those here. He's brought mooching to a truly new & utterly shameful level. I mean - if you go to lunch with him & don't eat all of your food - he will actually ask the server to bring a doggie bag for YOUR food.
