6. I Used to Work at a Restaurant in North Haven, CT
Edited on Thu Dec-09-04 01:16 PM by ribofunk
called the Beechwood Manor Inn which specialized in stuffed shrimp. I was told the shrimp were U2s and U3s, meaning that 2 or 3 of them weighed a pound. They came frozen from South Africa. A full-size order was three shrimp (you could also order two). Customers' eyes used to bug out when I served them, and there were cries of "Oh, my God!" It was wonderful.

The scallops are probably plugs of manta ray or something like that. But they may taste great.
