gorillas (the ape kind) hold wake
this broke my heart.. zoo lays out gorilla group leader for wake..hope cnn doesn't have video of it. Love gorillas...did paper and had to observe them for days. So human like and best of all throw feces at you if you stare too long.

Why dogs smile & Chimanzees cry

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0208570/

It will blow you away. Many animal species are much more human-like than we give them credit for. There are chimps in this movie that know 200 words in sign language and researchers show the chimps "talking to themselves" which means that they are thinking beings.

5. I was just at this zoo a few weeks ago and saw all of these gorillas.
I just about cried reading the story of the wake and how the one daughter gorilla didn't want to leave her mom, touching her stomach. It was in the Chicago Tribune yesterday.
