What brand of Cigarettes do you smoke?
Personally, I prefer Winston. If you're going to poison yourself, you may as well do it the all-natural way.

Once in a while, I buy some Camels, though. My boss tells me that they are the best cigarette ever made, and he usually bums some off of me.

How about you?

26. I am a former smoker.
And a respiratory therapy student. I can tell you two things. First, it WILL get better. Usually, it takes about a week for the bad cravings to stop.....and they will, I promise. The second thing I can tell you is that I have seen people in horrific agony with tubes coming from every which way, who can't even inhale enough air to produce a cough, all from smoking. It's just NOT WORTH IT. You will get through it!

22. I'm actually going to have to quit
I'm soon moving to Minnesota to be with my girlfriend, and I'm quitting when I get there.

I've only been smoking for about 4 months, so hopefully it won't be that hard. Depending on the day, I have everywhere from zero to nine.

4. Camel Lights Hard Pack
I tried switching to American Spirts awhile back but they could be hard to find, and were more expensive. I wouldn't have minded paying the price for them, but when I couldn't find them, and I"d buy some other cigarettes they'd taste all chemically and bad. Including Camel Lights.

I need to quit soon though. Most of the time I don't want to smoke anymore, so hopefully I can make it happen.

16. Don't Tell Me You Smoke Galoises!
Oh, that's right, you live in the Netherlands. In the US, it's sometimes considered pretentious.

As I understand it, Galoises use to be the prefered brand of French Marxist intellectuals who were trying to appear proletarian by smoking a blue-collar cigarette. Then American intellectuals started imitating the French Marxists.

What I think is funny are "Galoise Blondes" -- I guess they're the light version. Seems to go against the brand image.

35. Most people smoke cigars to fast.
they get hot, burn un-even and will eventually taste bad. Light them evenly and take your time. Don't mess with cheap cigars, always get good hand rolled.
Some people inhale, I've never been able. Most of the brands i smoke are just to strong.

I was smoking Camel Lights, Kentucky's Best are much better, plus you actually support Kentucky farmers and not big tobacco. Plus $14 a carton doesn't hurt, although the only shop in town that sells them is also the most expensive. Maybe I can get them cheaper in Louisville hmmmm

58. Marlboro Lights, but when I went on a date last week and he saw a pack in
my bag it was all over and I realized I might need to quit for the sake of my love life. Not for this guy (though as he went in for the kiss he said, "Is this going to taste like an ashtray?" I said, "What makes you think you're tasting anything tonight?" Still...) but b/c my choices are already pretty limited in Manhattan (single, straight, honest, intelligent, humorous- that's already asking a lot), and I can't afford to limit them more by requiring they be tolerant of my smoking as well, can I? I mean I'm 32 for God's sake. I'm attractive. There's no reason for me to be single. Why have a strike against me before I'm even up at bat?

But God. I really enjoy every single cigarette. Less so, I'll admit since they put this fire safe paper in, but still...
