1. Sure. It's like a pizza without sauce.
On second thought, why don't you just make a pizza?

5. Yes, it works in quesadillas, too.
It's just a little bland, so maybe a few pepper flakes or something. It's a very meltable cheese. I used it in quesadillas last night to stretch some pepper jack cheese. :D

6. Go light on the cheese or you'll choke to death.
It will be gooey. I might open-face it and broil it.

mix garlic salt and/or a little fresh minced garlic in with the butter before you spread it on the bread. It's a "garlic grilled cheese" - and by far, my favorite hippie fest food ever. (It's even better if you have a little marinara to dip it in).

On edit: Here's the oh-so-delicious sandwich to which I was referring:

11. But use garlic powder, not garlic salt!
I don't know how much sodium is in garlic salt, but it's too much.

I would suggest grating the mozzarella, and broiling it open face on toast, with tomato if you have it. Be sure to toast the bread first.

If you have bread and onions and beef boullion, you can make French onion soup with toasted bread and mozzarella. Mmmm.

12. It's cheese, isn't it?
That's the only requirement I have. I don't care how runny a cheese it is.

edit: if you have pesto or basil, pile it on and tomato or tomato sauce, too. drizle some warm olive oil on it after toasting.... i'm gonna start gnawing on my arm thinking about it.

20. ok, it's pretty good actually
i think the basil helped and i let the sandwich cool down for a few so it's not runny, it's still gooey but it's good.
