The DU Gallery is now part of Demopedia. The new address is:

We will be shutting down the old DU Gallery shortly. But we will keep it open for a week, just in case people want to grab some of their old links off of it.

Since the DU Gallery is now part of Demopedia, ANYONE can make updates! Say goodbye to months-long wait-times to have your pictures added or removed. Now, you can make the change YOURSELF, any time, day or night! Just follow the instructions in the Gallery.

UPDATED!

Here are all the people I added to the Gallery today. As far as I know, this update includes every person who asked to be added to the gallery since July. HOWEVER, this update does not include requests to have pictures changed, nor does it include updates to the Pets Gallery. If you wish to change your picture or add a pet to the gallery, you will have to do it yourself (or find someone to do it for you).

Frist, thanks alot for this and for all you do, I really do appreciate this site and all the hard work you guys do.

However, and not meaning to create more work, but with the name change amnesty, many of the names in the gallery are now mislabeled. I don't know if you can automatically link the new names or not, or maybe set up a new thread somewhere for people to notify you of for them to remove the pic under the old name and add under the new.

Obviously, a very low priority item and an unintended consequence of your generous name change amnesty.

That is the beauty of moving it into Demopedia. Anyone can make changes to any page. You don't need to wait for an admin to do it for you. :thumbsup:

31. almost an all-white gallery

I was happy to see the pictures of my fellow members. Some of them almost look normal. But it made me sad to find, out of a couple hundred faces, only 4 or 5 black members. I realize this is not the fault of the site, and wonder why this has happened.Does anyone have any ideas about this?

Though it took me a while. Do you have a pic scanned on a disk? If you do you can create a username on photobucket.com and add that pic on there. And you can go from there to add it to Demopedia.
