7. anything without lyrics
they bug me. and none of that "Jingle Bell Rock" crap. otherwise, any kind of instrumental, from simple piano solos to Mannheim Steamroller/Narada/Trans-Siberian Orchestra is fine by me.

10. The Phil Spector album
I admit to liking that a lot. And of course the Sonics' Christmas stuff. So I guess my favorite is the '60s era music.

The only Christmas sing I hear on purpose...I won't bore you with all the lyrics

When Jesus Christ was nailed to the his tree
Said "oh, Daddy-o I can see how it all soon will be
I came to shed a little light on this darkening scene
Instead I fear I spill the blood of my children all around"

Father up above, why in all this anger have you fill
Me up with love
Fill me love love love
Love love love
Love love
And the blood of our children all around

18. That mannheim steamroller stuff is the WORST!!!
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 12:57 PM by da_chimperor
I don't like Christmas chiefly because my mom would play the same few CD's of that crap OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER! It bugged the shit out of me and more. I hate that music with a passion. :grr:

end rant

Edit: a message to parents with teenage sons. When they tell you to give the christmas music a rest for a day or so, listen to them. It will be best for both of you.
