Name some non-celebrity celebrities.
The "15 minutes of fame" type of people usually relegated to "Hollywood Squares" or "Howard Stern". The people who made a career out of doing nothing. Celebrities who are non-celebrities that make you wonder what made them celebrities to begin with.... or who even gives (or gave), a fuck about them?

Joey Buttafuco.
Kitty Carlisle.
Bruce Vilanch.
Charles Nelson Reilly.
Charlie Weaver.
Orsen Bean.
John Wayne Bobbit.
Richard Simmons.
Zaa Zaa Gabor.
Ed McMahon.

That being said, I wish him a speedy recovery from his stroke.

25. I think Dick Clark also produced his shows
And he was the first to do what he did. Gotta give him credit for tha.

Also, I heard a clip of him talking about Howard Stern and the FCC. Mr. Clark has a very good take on what is happening to the media today, and he says it in no uncertain terms.

27. Well these at least might have wound up as has-beens....
...but at least they were not the 'never-weres' like the rest of the list:

Kitty Carlisle -- Watch "A Night at the Opera" (one of the better-known Marx Brothers Movies) -- she's the 'romantic lead' and sings on her own here. Also married to famed composer Moss Hart.

Zsa Zsa Gabor -- had a long but indistinguished film career; became more known for her marriages and divorces (gee...is this where Paris Hilton and J-Lo got their inspiration?)

Charlie Weaver -- real name Cliff Arquette (yes, related to the other acting Arquettes) -- frequent performer in the Golden Days of Television.

Orson Bean -- had an acting career, but was blacklisted in the 50's

Charlie Weaver even had his own show once. Kitty Carlisle originally trained as an opera singer.

34. Why is Kitty Carlisle on this list?
She's a woman of the theater, an actress and singer who had a career before To Tell The Truth and What's My Line came along.
