I've seen 2 so far, both late model Priuses. The first one on election day, and the second one earlier this evening. Both were in the Fredericksburg, VA area. :wtf: Talk about an oxymoron!

1. Really!!
The repugs I know, however, do seem to bifurcate their lives!!

Boy, do I think they are going to have a rude awakening when their kids are being drafted, their co. health benefits go away and their jobs are outsourced!

7. I drive a new luxury car
and had Kerry bumper stickers plastered on the back. Several people told me they seemed "out of place". I own a successful business, am Caucasian, live in a "red" suburb, and voted for Kerry, Gore, Clinton twice, Dukakis, Mondale , Carter and George Mc Govern. Most of my friends think I am politically deranged. Go figure.

10. At least one in the San Diego area
But then, we've got a lot of limousine liberals who weigh who they vote for by how much it affects their pocketbooks.

"See - I'm doing my part to make the world a better place, so you don't mind if I help myself to my reward now, do you?"

11. Three in my office building alone. Not pro-environment
I have asked two of the three about the cars and the response was the same both times. "you get to ride in the HOV lane with only one person in the car" My unscientific poll shows that the Bush hybrid drivers are not pro-environment as much as they are rich enough to beat the system.

12. Weirdest combo I saw
was a W04 sticker on one side of the bumper and The Death Penalty is a Hate Crime on the other.

Somebody must have been forgetting to take their meds.

14. Honda Insight in Tampa
Maybe they are trying to throw off the scent,a lefty car with a W'04 sticker would cause a FOX viewer who might imagine the political provenance of a hybrid as liberal and do something stupid think twice. It helps other hybrid owners since they will not be automatically classified by what they drive.SUVs in Florida have affinity tags to save the panther or manatee, owners are trying to send an environmental message so they are not stereotyped.People live up to their credit ratings so if they have a hybrid with a W'04 sticker they probably have an SUV with a manatee tag also.I have a cheap car and leave Sotheby's catalogs on the front seat.

15. Why is it necessarily an oxymoron?
The politically misled can still be environmentally conscientious.

Too, it could be that they extremely conservative fiscally, and want to save on gas because they save pennies.
