I was just watching a Popeye episode with my daughter. Popeye has to watch a baby and spanks it. Then the baby is mad and gets revenge on Popeye with a lot of little pranks, etc. In the end, Popeye sings a little song about how it's better if you don't spank your kids!

Then I thought, of course.....Popeye is the Democrat and Brutis is the Republican!! I told my husband and he thinks Wimpy is the swing voter: he'll go either way for a hamburger. :)

"Olive Oyl represents the sheeple American." --> It's anybody's guess if they will bother to vote at all ... and only if there's no sale at COST-CO and/or that cutie pie Anderson Cooper (Brutus in one of those hokie disguises trying to woo her) has told them "it's popular" to vote for Candidate X. <eg>

2. Popeye glorifies promiscuity and single-parenthood!!!!!

That Olive Oyl was a tramp! Always dating two guys at once and just letting them show up to her house any old time!

Plus she always had this baby running around that nobody really knew who the father was!!!!!

It's a sinful cartoon designed to lead our children into sin!!!!!!!
