Prolly from Michigan ! The "fireman's hat" is one of them drinkin' helmets, you put a beer can in each of the holders and a tube to your mouth. Everyone up here has at least one.

But we're expecting a cold front tonight. It might drop all the down to 54 degrees. I guess I'll have to close the windows. Darn.

But I happen to live in a right-wing Cuban neighborhood, which makes me an outcast.

24. The Cubans who are dems down here tend to keep a low-profile
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 06:17 PM by RagingInMiami
We had what we called "the closet democrat Cuban" who told all their friends and family they were voting for Bush, but really voted for Kerry.
I volunteered for the Kerry campaign in the Little Havana office and we had a number of Cuban republicans come in to voice their support for Kerry.
But there were so many Bush signs in my neighborhood that it was sickening. And when I put up a Kerry sign, they would knock it down.
So I started knocking their signs down and we got into a little bit of a sign war.

EDIT: Typo

I have heard much about this phenomenon, described as a frozen form of precipitation which occurs when the temperature falls below 32°F (0°C).

30. Lots of sirens going tonight...
House fires always increase during the first serious cold around here. People don't check out their heating equipment.
