Is there effective treatment for narcissism?

Because I, personally, am tired of dealing with it all by myself.

1. Not really. Its a personality disorder, kindof similar to Psychopathy.

There is lots of info on the web, though.

Try googling on Dr. Sam Vaknin. He is the acknowledged expert in the field, and has the disorder himself. Interestingly, he is absolutely clear on what a devastating disorder it is and makes no excuses for it. He is disgusted by Narcissistic behavior and advises those who are in contact with Narcissists to stop hoping for change, protect themselves, and get away. In particular, he is very sympathetic to the victims of Narcissists and explains very well what Narcissists do to their targets and how targets themselves are affected.

There is a site at Suite101.com created by him. It includes a discussion board and there are alo tof helpful people there. (I used to go there myself)
