Post YOUR Idea For a New Reality Show
Edited on Sat Dec-11-04 10:27 PM by CO Liberal
Earlier today, we were watching "House Invaders", the BBC show where a team comes into a house and redecorates a few rooms using the materials the homeowner has on hand.

Then there's "Trading Spaces", where two sets of neighbors swap houses for two days and redecorate one room in each other's place.

So I got thinking and came up with an idea for a new reality home-improvement show:

"TRADING STUFF" -- the show where two sets of neighbors swap houses for two days and redecorate one room in each other's place with items they steal out of the other houses on the street.

:-)

Anyone else have any good show ideas?

2. Okies
I'll post it here so that if the network steals it I'll sue for trillions.

You get some people and 2 famous hosts for the show. As the show begins the people have to work as a team on an island, just for the first episode though. The "team" turns against the shows host and makes them do crazy stuff, lord of the flies kinda stuff.

The catch, "the team" are actors and the famous hosts have been set up and have to compete.

Michael Harris, NBC I own it so don't steal it, gimmie ummm 25 bucks and we'll talk.

3. I've got a few ideas... Like escape from the Fundie camp
Contestants will be stranded in a campground ran by a Fundie group and the person to escape without any type of conversion will win the jackpot...laugh now but when they start the Fundie conversion you'll wish the idea actually happened.

OR

The President's life is video taped just like in the Real World.

9. Sorry just thought of one. Viewing Audience is safe but if we could make
Repugs watch a Ring type movie and the moment they lie the Girl comes to kill them. Can you image the floors of the house and Senate?

5. I want to see a show where
a rich, privileged family accustomed to a life of ease and plenty has to live a life totally alien to them for at least a month, that is, the life of a family living from paycheck to paycheck, unable to afford new clothes, struggling to put food on the table every day, having to decide between rent or medical care, dealing with debt collectors and creditors who don't give a damn about their circumstances, working very hard yet with little to show for it, etc., etc. THAT would be a reality show I'd gladly tune in for, if only to see said rich, privileged family explode and crack under the strain after about five days, at most.

7. They guy who did the Supersize doc
Is making a show sort of like that. The idea is to put people into situations totally alien to them. Each episode is supposed to be different, I guess.

6. I'd really like to see...
... all the neo-cons dropped into the middle of the headhunter territory of New Guinea wearing their best hand-tailored suits and handmade Italian shoes, armed only with their mouths. :)
