4. This is a state park
That is right next to the neighborhood I grew up in. My old stomping grounds. It is still one of my most favorite places on the planet.

I grew up three miles south of Morristown. The picture below is of the Club House at the Spring Brook Country Club, where I caddied during the Summer of 1969, when I was 16. It was a private club, and I was eventually thrown off the course because I - rebellious hippie that I was - refused to get a hair cut.

8. Summer of '69
I got my first real six-string
Bought it at the five-and-dime
Played it til my fingers bled
It was the summer of '69

...sorry, I had to post that. When I read your post that song just popped right into my head.:D

11. I grew up in a place called Redmond WA
It's a pretty nice town, has a huge park right in the middle of it:

It even has a velodrome in the park:

Then this geek came:

And mucked my town up with millions of buildings that ALL LOOK THE SAME:

But, a pretty cool gal is mayor there, last I checked, Rosemary Ives:

And she's kept the geek at bay enough to let Redmond have development:

And a lot of open spaces too:

12. I lived most of my life in Elmira Ontario

A small town that still has tie ups for the horses & buggies.
Farm fresh veggies, everyone knows everyone else.

I miss it!!
