I love you, John, but you had your shot. It's now time to realize that you are a career senator. That's not so bad.

8. I didn´t sleep two nights |

following everything about the election even though it was not in my country, I cried when you lost even though I do not live in your country, I would do ANYTHING so you would win even though I´m not from your country.. so for crying out loud: START FIGHTING!!!!
and then I would beg him, talking his ears of his head about how he shouldn´t give up and if that won´t help I would start crying :)

11. Probably recite Yeats. |
|
The poem "To a Friend Whose Work Has Come to Nothing" is appropriate, especially the line about being "honor-bred."
And I would ask him to fight for all the little people.

for conceding without making sure all the votes were counted when he promised not to let us down this year and had some 51 million dollars to do so.
Yesterday at a local Democrats meeting (Johnson County, Kansas, Second Saturday breakfast) a man who was a national advance person for the Kerry campaign was quite startled when some of us let him know how unhappy and angry we are about Kerry's concession. We were given the usual crap about not wanting to look like a sore loser, and how the country had to come together and the usual bull shit. It's clear that neither Kerry nor anyone in his campaign has any clue what many of us are feeling. They honestly think he did the right thing. Well, he didn't.
There is no chance he can run again. Oh, three years from now there will be some kind of movement to get him back in the race, but just as the "draft Al Gore" movement went nowhere, so will any "draft Kerry" movement be stillborn.
We're going to need someone new, a true liberal and progressive to have any hope of winning in 2008. And it's silly and futile to try to guess who that will be at this point.

15. I would thank him for his debate performances |
|
but then I would have to express my supreme disappointment at the way he just seemed to flee the scene. I understand why he conceded - he did not stand a chance in a country where republicans own the White House, Congress, the Supreme Court, the media, and the voting -but I think he could have eloquently pointed this out to the American public before disappearing.
