1. Get caught up in some flamefests?
Those can be fun, especially when there's a few pizzas involved. :D

Its tough trying to find a middle ground, I swear I am a partisan left wing nut but there's a part of me that always seeks the common ground. Ahh the flamefests I was in, didn't get any pizzas, fuck.

7. That shows you're open to compromise
That's necessary in politics, and you'll need it for when you become a senator. I may even carpetbag just to vote for you. Assuming I'm not a citizen of Monaco by then. :)

13. Who knows what the future will be like. Aim high and see what happens
I'm planning on being a charitable, socially and environmentally conscious billionaire. I'd even settle for multi-millionaire.

18. Me too
I've heard rumors that the bastards in the financial office are doubling tuition for non-EU students for my last year. If it's true, with the weakening dollar I'm gonna have to pursue some creative financing options if I'm going to graduate on schedule.

22. It's been mixed
My family never had a lot of money growing up. We were pretty well off the last few years and now things are going downhill. It'll get better soon enough, but it sucks that we always have to worry about money.

23. We're obviously not as rich as some people I know
If it wasn't for my mom, we'd be living in an apartment I think. I was with her last night getting groceries and apparently there's this upscale grocery store. Hell, some people I know, their parents owned resturants, my dad, he was a waiter for the longest time, really made me appreciate the service industry and because he worked with immigrants a lot, be tolerant of immigrants.

24. My mom is still in the service industry
She worked with all sorts of people, same as your dad. Immigrants, black, white Latino, Chicano, gay/bi, etc. There's not a prejudiced bone in her body. She brought me up the same way. She's getting into real-estate soon, and as hot as the local market is, I know things will work out.

but my dad I think got what he got from his dad. My dad wasn't poor really, he did make a lot of mistakes like not going to college and stuff. Good luck to your mom btw.

26. Thanks
My family has made more good than bad decisions, but the bad ones were still enough to mess things up. Things will work out as they always have. What doesn't kill you makes your stronger . . . or leaves pretty cool scars. :)

do many of your contemparories participate in political discussion? I guess not many do, not if they were like I was when I was a young man. I'd be interested to know though.

Where else would :tinfoilhat: theories be considered 'mainstream', and 'mainstream' theories be considered 'drinking the Kool-Aid'?

29. haha
you know to be honest, while I would have supported either of those two if they were the nominee, I wasn't a big fan. I liked the so called party establishment sans Lieberman, but I liked Kerry, Gep, and Edwards a bit and Kucinich as well. Yes, I have a lot of paradoxes in me. I admit it, I wasn't keen on the DU favorites but I am a yellow dog democrat, they would get my work and time for them if they were the nominee.
