Chicago DUers. Need Help Getting Around.

I grew up in th NW suburbs, but I haven't spent much time in the Chicago Area for almost 20 years.

I'm bringing my son to meet my dad. I fly into Midway. How do I get from Midway out to Arlington Heights?

1. Probably take the CTA to the Metra

The CTA (subway/L) runs out of midway. Then the Metra (commuter rail) goes to suburban destinations. Check out these two sites:

CTA to downtown, then catch a Metra to Arlington Heights.

Details can't help with, as I have been out of Chicago for 20 years too (raised in Niles).

3. Public Transportation

The CTA website is really cool. They have a trip planner and all that within the town. I'm flying into OHare next Sunday and have to get to Union Station. Easy!

6. Chicago has GREAT public transportation!

AND the people are so very friendly.
You can probably go to the CTA online and
get exactly whatever information you need.
