Okay...we need a casting call here. |

I just finished watching "Scrooge" starring Alistair Sim for what has gotta be the UMPTEENTH time. (Okay...I love the film...what can I say?)
It dawned on me that Bush is in Genuine need of a visit by the three Spirits. Who are they gonna be, folks?
Your nominations here for the: Ghost of Christmas Past Ghost of Christmas Present Ghost of Christmas Yet to Be

1. Ghost of Christmas Past |

Clinton of course. Showing Shrub how he wasted his time doped up when he could have used it getting blow jobs from the really bright girls in his class who wouldn't even look at him otherwise.
Ghost of Christmas Present; Michael Moore. Who better to rub Dubya's nose into the mess he's making?
Ghost of Christmas Yet to Be; Himself as an 85 year old homeless man...having had his fortune wiped out by his own policies and lost all the others who had always propped him up.

Ghost of Christmas Past: Charles Dickens himself
(But it might give him ideas because during Dickens time it was not a celebrated holiday like we think)
Ghost of the Present: (A Trio) A recent Iraq soldier killed in Iraq to show * what it is like to be their. Michael Moore to show * how people suffer under him. Martha Stewart to show him how those who are caught for doing wrong would suffer.
Ghost of the Future: Jesus of course to show him how terrible his law will make the country.

Christmas Present, for example--would Rev. Shitstain be better helped by a visit from Mahatma Gandhi, or by King Kong Bundy?
its a tough question

Cesar Chavez should come to Bush as the Ghost of Christmas Past and show him that while he, Dubya, was enjoying a life of privilege and wealth (and beginning a lifelong habit of disdaining other people), civil rights workers were getting savaged by police dogs and gunned down and beaten by the cops; and young men were returning from Vietnam without limbs; and people were losing their farms and struggling to get by. He should see that. He should see what he overlooked or didn't care about (or perhaps feared too much to confront).
I like the idea of Michael Moore for the Ghost of Christmas Present, who is, after all, jolly, a man of the people, and also delivers the most severe of reproaches.
The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is a man who has turned on the United States because of our policies. His name is legion.
And then the ghost of Lee Atwater should visit Bush and Karl Rove (or maybe Nixon's ghost could visit one of them) to warn of the awful fate that awaits them.
