Mandingo. Yes or No?
Sure it's a lurid piece of trash (and that's why I love it), but isn't it actually a more honest picture of the antebellum south than gauzy, sentimental nonsense like "Gone With the Wind?"

I was working in a copy shop during college. A resume came across the order table, I read the positions held and thought, "What the hell is this? There are no real jobs on this thing!" Well, I looked at the name at top and everything became clear. I would already imitate Thurmond when I was bored at work, so I had him down. His chinless scion had to listen to me fulminate about "mixing up the colored paper and the white paper" Fuck him.
