I'll make this my first post, since it appears I'll need to get my count up before I can post my own topics. Always happens on Sunday--the weekend throws off my whole schedule, making Monday mornings hellish when I have to be up early. But I can't think of a better bunch to spend the time with. Greetings to DU from NJ. You do great work here. Been lurking for over a month now, and have finally decided to register. Been following the vote-fraud thing, and just wanted to say that I've been doing what I can in terms of armchair activism, emailing congress people and signing petitions, hoping to get more involved as time permits.

On the other thing, having a full time job and a family certainly limits what I can do, but I absolutely plan on being down in DC whoever ends up being innaugurated on Jan. 20.

it's just my messed up biological clock. And yes, I have a strange work schedule. Most days I set my own schedule, but that varies. Working in the morning won't make me go to bed any sooner. I'm not advocating it. It's not normal.

I wouldn't do so well setting my own work schedule. The more free I am to set my schedule the later I stay up and the later I get up.

But did you see Supersize Me? They have a great scene where his girlfriend talks about how his performance suffered in bed after he went from eating vegetarian to eating McDonald's all the time. That was so hilarious! It's funny that he put that in the film himself.
All I can say is that I've dated women who were vegan and umm...without making this a sex thread I'll just say they were great, but thankfully none got pregnant.
