Coffee drinkers: what's your favorite kind of coffee?
Brand? Flavor? Caffienated or De-caf?

Mine? Gevalia Amaretto. God, that stuff is delicious. :-)

1. I only drink
freshly brewed Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. I grind my beans daily. If you want to give yourself a real Christmas present, nothing can top that.

Edited on Mon Dec-13-04 07:52 AM by liberalnurse
Oh, I peaked an seen that you can get the Blue at a very reasonable price. I'm not so lucky. It is at least $45.00 a pound. I indeed agree, it is the very, very best.

Last time had has a sip was in 1999.

I typically purchase mine at local Roaster, Boston Stoker Company.

33. Do you live in Japan?
Otherwise, please be sure that you are in fact getting genuine Blue Mountain, as 90% of the Blue Mountain crop goes to Japan.

2. Community Dark Roast (Caffienated)
One of New Orleans finest. When in town, I have to swing by Cafe DuMond and have Cafe Alait and Beignets. One of life's little pleasures.

I'll drink it but wouldn't choose it. I guess it's one of those tastes it helps to be raised on.

5. French Market with Chicory
The product is inconsistant but the last we bought the coffee was a deep color ground fine with a wonderful aroma from the can and in the cup. This coffee is rich with chocolate tones and is smooth without the sharp bite of many french roast coffees. I drink it neat (black and hot) and very strong. The adulteration of chicory evidently decreases the caffine as I can drink it through the day and night without getting jitters and sleep problems. Not the case with pure coffee. If I go to an all day event and drink coffee throughout the day I come home pretty hyper.

9. Every morning when I get up I,
heat a 10 oz. cup of milk, put a teaspoon of NESCAFé into the mug along with two teaspoons of EQUAL and pour the warm milk in the mug.

My own Café Aulait and would not trade it for the world!!!!

Lately with the price of milk and coffee going up it is quite expensive to make--but it is such a comfort food to start my day with and my entire system appreciates it so ...... i just can't give it up!

Sumatran coffee is nice, but the pesticide issue is spooky. I recently had some Trader Joe's supposedly organic that was good, and inexpensive.

Sumatran coffee is mellow, Kenyan coffee is for when you need to get your mojo working.
