Hockey mother bared, barred
A Toronto mother who lifted her blouse and shook her breasts to taunt fans of the opposing team during her 11-year-old's hockey game will be barred from attending games for a year, the league ruled yesterday.

In a decision it called a warning to all hockey parents, the Greater Toronto Hockey League said the unnamed woman will not be allowed to watch any league games until Nov. 30, 2005.

"Her behaviour at the game had shown a complete disregard and lack of respect for the young players involved and the spectators present," league president John Gardner said. "This type of behaviour would not be tolerated in any other work, educational or other environment."

During a peewee game last week between the league's Mississauga Terriers and the York Toros, the mother of one of the Toro players lifted her shirt and began shaking her breasts in an apparent attempt to taunt Mississauga fans. Her son's team went on to win the game 4-0.

4. Sometimes I think....................
the parents of these youth league players (of ALL sports) should be banned from attending their children's games. Fights among parents, booby flashing, throwing things at refs, attacking refs............it's the parents with the problems, not the kids.
What a way to set an example for your children. Just let the kids play without anyone in the stands. Tape it, show it later to families and all interested, but just let the kids PLAY (it IS a game) unencumbered by over zealous parents embarrassing them.
