Car transportation services question

My mom is retired and is hoping to spend most of January & February at their place in Florida this year, with my father joining her when his job permitted it. They were going to fly down to Florida & have their old car transported down there to stay permanently.

Since my mom was also our primary day-care person for our daughter this year, but refused to take any money, we were hoping to at least pay for sending her car down to Florida from Connecticut. We were assuming it would cost around $500.

Does anybody know of any reputable places in this field? I would assume that it's normally put onto a flatbed & driven down with several other cars. Any links I can get?
