25. I did that in Venice
tk2kewl -- My friends thought I was nutty, but I have bunches of pictures from Venice on two themes:

- "The Dachshunds of Venice" I guess because apartments are small, a LOT of people have dachshunds

- "The kitties of Venice" harder than it used to be, since the stray cat problem was addressed a few years ago. But there are still some free-range cats, slinking around the Rialto market after hours, sleeping at the internet cafes, asleep in potted greenery outside restaurants, and perched on stone pillars along the Viale Garibaldi.

I had more fun taking pictures of these natives then I did taking pictures of monuments and Great Art, which I can see in any tour book any day.

28. Australian Terrier
They are larger than Yorkies and longer. She's about 11 pounds and very muscular and energetic. For a small breed they are very strong. My gal here though is not too bright and rather forward with other dogs-Her gentleman caller from next door is a 125 lb lab/rott mix. They'll roll around and tumble about.(not to worry they are both neutered) Her sister is a 60lb Dalmatian/Lab mix and they can have some pretty aggressive play too.

Little Lilly here is always the aggressor! She's a tough little spirit.

80. Big Terrier show outside Philadelphia every fall
In Ambler, on Temple's suburban campus. I think it's the biggest terrier show in the country - I've never seen that many handsome Scotties and Westies.

My MIL got a Westie puppy (her pastor breeds them) and you have never met a fiercer, tougher little guy. Brought him a pig's ear, and he barked at it, then destroyed it.

Them terriers is tough!
