Could Ah-nold commute Scott's sentence to life?

I'm just wondering what the "Terminator" would actually do about this if he were still in office...has he mentioned whether he is for/against the death penalty?

1. Why would he do that?

He wouldn't even extend the lives of pets in state animal shelters.

2. I would guess so,

since most governors have the right of commutation of sentence. But I come from a non DP state (Wisconsin out lawed it in 1848).

3. I'd put my money on the judge!

He didn't sound too surprised by the verdict. He did say that they jury made their decision on what they saw in the courtroom, which leads me to believe he'll give him life. (Besides guys on death row live in a single cell, w/ no contact w/ other inmates, I would prefer "Bubba" getting his "turn" w/ Scott.) ;)
