Just for fun...the return of the starving artist...

This is a staged happening...just for kicks.

I tried this a few nights ago, late at night, as a publicity stunt for the newly formed Artist's Group but it got out of hand and became a bit of a train wreak...I ended up confusing and irritating a few people. Eventually someone did figure out the solution to the puzzle (your prize is in the mail BTW) but it took over two hours.

I thought I'd try it again, this time with a set time limit, and more than a few hints from me.

The contest will end at 9:30 P.M. EST (so synchronize your watches) giving you an little less than an hour and a half to figure out the puzzle. I'll also be giving you hints throughout the evening.

The winner of the previous contest, as well as anyone else I may have informed as to where to find the answer, is disqualified.

Here's the puzzle if you can figure it out...

Somewhere in this picture is a starving artist, perhaps inspired by La Boheme, he's getting ready to toss his paintings into the fire to keep warm, see if you can find him...



Your first hint: this isn't one of those tricks where a monster pops up at you if you start at it long enough...it's a regular .jpg image.

but someone did look BEYOND the actual image to find the answer, it also helps, if you use a Bucket to find the "StarvingArteest".

I looked beyond the stove, beyond the picture actually. Right click, properties, jpg is titled, "Starvingartist2.jpg" There's your starving artist (embedded) in the picture.
