Favorite Vacation Spot?
My vote goes to a fishing trip I once took on Vancouver Island in BC. What a beautiful place, and to get that feeling of being remote beats everything. :-)

Is that a Pacific island? :D Sounds dreamy to me!

Edit: Never mind, I googled it. I guess I was right!

12. It's a Hawaiian island
between O'ahu and Maui, year-round pop. ~7,000. The Hansen's disease (leprosy) settlement made famous by Father Damien is on a peninsula on its northern shore.

As far as I know it still does not have any McDonald's, or traffic lights.

If we don't act now when the "errors" are plain for all to see it won't matter, they'll have it down to a science.

Edit: Wrong thread sorry.

11. Anywhere that's far, far, away from everyone else...
But since I moved to Alberta, I love going to the Canadian Badlands area by Drumheller. Desolate beauty, and one of my favorite ghost towns is in the area....

Yosemite............. beautiful, plus I lived near there for 25 years.

Haven't traveled much outside of the US, but I'd love to go to any South Pacific Island.
