Has your cat ever taken a message
for you and got it all wrong? Like writing meow meow, meow meow meow, meowhhhh, instead of just meow, mewo mewo mewo. ?? Just wondering because I just hate it when my cat messes up like that.

1. My cat retrieves messages
He likes to sit on the answering machine just right so that the voice will come on and talk to him. I swear he does it on purpose - and then he sits there and smiles.

4. No, but I have one who used to answer the phone.
He's sensitive to certain sounds (my singing drives him  and he always comes running meowing at me when I sing). The phone we had at the time must have bugged him because we'd often come home to find the receiver sitting on the nightstand. One time I got a message from a friend saying that Alex must have picked up the phone when she called because it was answered but nobody ever said hello. Too bad we never taught him to say "Meow" when he answered it.

Alex also opens unlocked sliding screen doors. We have to put a wooden stick in the outside track when we're outside, or Alex will let himself and the other six out.
