Wow, am I lucky
Went to watch the MNF game with friends tonight...drank a number of beers...game ended, and I hung around for a while drinking water & diet coke. Headed to my "temporary" home, stopped for a coffee at a convience store, considering it's like 8 freaking degrees here.

On the way home, while sneaking through the old neighborhoods I grew up in, saw a car kind of following me. POLICE LIGHTS!!!! Shit, I pulled over. A kind female officer came up, and asked for the license, registration, insurance. I was absolutely FREAKING OUT, because I KNOW I was well over the legal limit of intoxication.

She only said she stopped me because she thought I didn't have my seatbelt on. Jesus, I was so freaked out. She let me go, "obviously".

Just thought I'd share...

Getting a DUI is not the worst thing that could happen (i.e. your death or someone else's). But, as for DUI, a friend just spent $3000 in legal and court fees + 8 hours in lock up. It just ain't worth it, and it's better to crash (so to speak) at a friend's place whenever possible.

Prove it buddy! And btw, my friends get tired of the lectures that I give them, but drinking and driving is *very naughty*. Best not to do it at all, even if you don't get caught.

12. Thanks
I wasn't totally bombed...if I were it would have turned out much diffently

NOT SMART to drive while intoxicated - but I was EASILY still capable of driving. I waited over an hour before I left, but, STUPID for even driving after drinking.....
