10. Oh, my. I actually bought one of those...

A boxful, in fact. One of the angry, evil Santa's with a stick.

My 17-year-old and I were sent to the store to buy cards. We chose evil Santa because he was on foot, clearly pissed off, and looked more like he was taking presents rather than leaving them.

14. My favorite bad Christmas card of all time

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner, so you'll just have to go with the description of a card that a former student sent me from her English teaching job in Japan:

Imagine a Victorian angel looking soulfully upward with UFOs flying behind her head. The caption on top is "God Save the Christmas."

At the angel's feet is a banner that says, "Oh my God."

Which is the only appropriate remark to make upon seeing that card.
