3. NewYorker doesn't have a crystal ball

you have to tell her when you have a milestone. I've never bothered myself, but it's not a "snub".

4. She's only automatically alerted for 100, 500, and 1000

for all the rest, she has to manually wade through thousands of threads every day. that's a huge job. I've been missed a few times, but if you tell her, you'll be on the next time around.

What's funny is that it matters how many posts we have.

I'm guessing that the really high numbers belong to people who'll post just about anything that pops into their heads. I can't see that as something to brag about.

Now if you've posted 50 inciteful, well thought out, informative posts, there should be a milestones thread for you!

22. I never saw my 2000th post milestone.

I checked for a few days, but didn't see anything. However, as has already been said, newyawker99 does an incredible job. I can't imagine scrolling through thread after thread looking for milestone numbers. It would be next to impossible not to miss one occasionally. In no way can such an occurence be construed as a "snub".
