MMmmmm I just ate a BBQ tempeh sandwich and it rocked!!
Th etempeh was marainated in BBQ sauce and then grilled slapped on 12 grain bread with provolone cheese, sayonaise, and pickles!! it was sooooo good!

I have enough fiber in me to start and Indonesian sweatshop now!!

2. I believe it is a wheat
product that is used as a meat substitute!

8. It's made with beans, usually soy beans
"Tempeh is a fermented food made by the controlled fermentation of cooked soybeans with a Rhizopus mold (tempeh starter). The tempeh fermentation by the Rhizopus mold binds the soybeans into a compact white cake. Tempeh fermentation also produces natural antibiotic agents which are thought to increase the body's resistance to intestinal infections. Fermentation leaves the desirable soy isoflavones intact."

10. thank you very much!! the mold sucked up the sauce real nice
overnight! It was sorta like a veggie McRib... when I was done with it.

7. not mayo sayonaise (soy mayo! ) its real good mixed with a bit of
tahini as well, put it on your little red taters, or brussel sprouts.

6. kinda I think its a grain/bean product that is cultured with some
sort of mushroom mycelea type stuff, or at least thats what it appears to me to be...

maybe someone else knows better!
