But you could win the lottery that is if you played!
A long time ago the TV host of the Pennsylvania lottery rigged things up so that he could go to jail for doing so.
The number was 666.

My family lives in Kentucky. In Louisville (a city), so not the boondocks, but still sometimes subject to less than sophisticated persons.
I was in a local drug store buying some necessities, checking out at the counter. The young lady behind the register rings me up, then looks at me strangely and says: "Would you like to buy something else?".
I'm thinking this is one of those required marketing ploys, like the dudes at Macdonald's constantly asking you if you wouldn't like some fries. So I say, "No thanks, that's all I need".
The girl again asks me: "Are you sure you don't want to buy something else?", this time sounding a bit more desperate. I am now a bit perplexed, but thinking she took her pushy marketing training a bit too seriously. So I again gently refuse to buy anything else.
The girl looks like she's going to lose it. She hisses at me: "Look at your total!".
My register total is $6.66. I stare at it for a few seconds then start to laugh. I ask for my change, deciding to leave the poor bumpkin traumatized by her satanic cash register total.

that's pretty funny.
Now that I know there are people who think that way, if it ever happens to me, I'll tell 'em to give me a discount, since they were the one ringing things up, it must be on them. :D
